Mutants & Masterminds: Freedom City Supernaturals

Hey. I've finally got around to getting something sorted for this game. I'm looking for 4-5 players, preferably knowing the rules. I'm using skype and the games will be 7.30-10.30 GMT Tuesdays. Please show your interest here and we can organize a character build session. (PS if anyone is still interested my DnD Maure Castle campaign will be going ahead some time as soon as my friend sorts his timetable out.)

Hello. I'm super interested in playing some MnM3e, I feel I have a firm grasp on the rules. No Skype. 7:30 GMT AM or PM? Tuesdays work great for me it is my prefered day to play! [Showing Interest] Character concept 1): "Thunder Bow" a trick arrow master with storm and weather themed special ammunition.  Character concept 2: "Petrification Boy" a rock themed brick archetype kid who can temporarily turn bad guys into statues to make them easier for the police to apprehend. Character concept 3: "Hex Paw" the team mascot black back who can assist the heroes with his magical powers.

I might be interested in this, could be fun to play some M&M instead of having to be the GM as usual. A few questions though: What kind of game would you like to run? Four colour? Grim and gritty? Something in between? Also maybe a basic outline of the plot might be usefull to help think up a character that fits into the story. The person above me already asked this, but the time is at pm right? And the last question: Are you just using skype? Or a virtual tabletop as well? Thanks in advance.

Hey all. Just to answer a few questions. Time is 7.30pm till10.30pm. I intend to use roll20 as a tabletop and skype for voice chat. As for a basic plot/setting: The characters are a team of supernatural themed heroes (think justice league dark, Hellboy: BPRD) that have been active for some time.  The first adventure has them called by the Master Mage Adrian Eldritch to help stop and invasion of creatures from another dimension.  I'm using the supernatural handbook as main influence as well as the Freedom City setting. So Call of Cthulhu meets Batman might sum it up.

Sounds neat. I'm going to roll a Shadow Manipulator of some sort.

The time and day of week and system combination would be great for me. But Skype is poisonous to my computer. I have Tokbox working. I have good experience playing roll20.net through a google+ hangout. I am also fine using plain text. no webcam. Which of the three character concepts I listed above you would most like me to roll first?

John T. Your experience with Skype seems to be my experience with Tokbox, the last campaign I played in tried using it and it failed miserably that's why we defaulted to Skype. I don't intend to use webcam, just voice.

I am interested, I have played a lot of 2E, I have a pretty decent grasp of 3E rules though some things combat wise confuse me. I have skype, hero lab, the core book, and I can do the time, which I believe is 1 pm for my timezone.

Sorry for the late reply, this almost slipped my mind. I won't be joining this after all. Supernatural kind of comics isn't a genre I'm all that familiar with and I don't think I would be suited for it. Good luck with your campaign though!

Ok, Mitchell, sorry, I'd like someone who has game knowledge as character creation is a lot of number crunching. Is there anyone else that wants to play?

I want to play.  Tuesdays is the day of the week I'm most hoping to find a game to accept me.  Mutants and Masterminds Third Edition is the system I most want to play right now.  I know the character creation system!

I'm gonna wait to see if we can get a 4th player. If nothing materializes by next tuesday we will start then. I'd also like a bit of time to attempt to tailor a few story ideas to the characters themselves.
