Have Any Token Artists Thought About Identical Tokens In Different Poses

I posted an idea for the Top Down Token creators to design a set of Top Downs that would be the same character in perhaps 4 or 5 different poses, like with a melee weapon, a ranged weapon, sitting, mounted (including the mount), and sleeping or dead... Using the rollable table feature players could change poses with the click of their mouse... Does anyone else have any thoughts on this, would you be willing to buy these, I know I would... -Ajax

I'm definitely considering doing this for some very special tokens in the future. I think the main thing that has prevented them from being dône already is that it greatly limits the number of unique tokens you'll see in a set. If every token has just 5 poses, you'd see only about 5 characters in the average set instead of 25. That potentially limits the appeal, as if you don't happen to want a black haired female fighter with an axe you're not going to get that set. Nonetheless, a strong idea and one that I am sure I will draw on when the time is right. I'm sure others will too.

This seems more the realm of commissioned token packages, where a GM submits text/picture guides and the artist then does the party with their preferred weapons & armor in the various poses. Does the Marketplace support commissions?

Not directly, but the Devs will put you in touch if you requested it and the artist agree.
There are quite a few of them out there that I have found doing searches, I found several fantasy tokens that show the same figure in several poses. I was assembling pages of tokens for PCs to select from and realized they had matches.

I would be willing to consider doing this, provided there is enough interest in purchasing a set like that. I've had troubles in the past creating art for requests, and then seeing interest vanish after the work is done.
I'm glad I found this thread because I was wondering if there was an interest. I recently got the green light from the Roll20 team to create art for the marketplace. Since, in a play-by-post RPG I've been running for a year, I use multiple poses, I wanted to do the same for my first content pack. EDIT - I am working on the pack now. It'll be a while before I am finished.
