Set in the distant future, GS:DD is a post-apocalyptic setting where it's literally you versus the world. Salvage items and craft gear in a diverse world of neo-tech, unlocked magick, and metal rot. Survive the ravaged world of both wastelands and urban dystopia, using whatever you can scrounge up, trade, intimidate, politically gain, or steal. Every action has a reaction, and it's up to you to survive by whatever means are necessary. Affiliate yourself with a number of groups, from raiders, pirates, bounty hunters, government usurpers, syndicates, and more. Taking 4 players currently, May add more if schedules work! New Player Friendly! Diverse Racial System! Gathering and Crafting, Don't just wait for drops! Easy to Pick up, Lengthy to Master! Co-op, or PvP if you wish! Dates are flexible currently, looking mostly at Monday, Thursday, Saturday, and/or Sunday nights. Any experience levels are welcome. Want an idea what you can compare this RPG to? Think Borderlands, with Shadowrun elements. Fallout would also fit the sense of setting. Possibly Knights of the Old Republic in some aspects as well. I like paying homage to other games that have influenced my tastes. A little about myself: I've been RPing since AOL 3.0 some 20+ years ago, and doing DnD, BESM, and other customized RP's over the years, including my previous campaign here with a Final Fantasy based RP. I took a break from R20 here for a few MMO's, but have been disappointed, so now I'm back. I believe a GM Is never the enemy of the player, but only the implimenter of what random chance has to say. That being said, the campaign is not set in a linear path, but is dependent on certain dice parameters to ensure fairness. That's NOT to say there's no story! It all matters on the choices of the players involved. Once Scheduling for everyone is set, campaigns will start whenever character creations are done.
