Change Campaign Ownership

Recently, it occurred to my group that it is impossible to grant campaign ownership to another participant, in case the one who created it wants to no longer take part in it. It may be a rather minor thing, but if it is easy to implement, it would probably relieve those who created games they cannot ( or do not want to ) continue playing, but would rather pass them on to another. Promoting someone to GM does not grant them ownership of the game in case they may want to copy/extend it, so it kind of limits continuation of a game in some cases. Apologies if this was suggested at some point earlier, I did a quick check up and didn't see it anywhere.

It's a valid suggestion for a change, in my review. But seems to be a change that's somewhat unlikely to occur, that's not a prediction but just based upon reading the forum explanation of this to-date. This has been asked under "Specific Use Questions" rather than Suggestions, and the Mods or Devs answered explaining that the reason we can't transfer a campaign to another owner is involving copyright reasons. For example anyone can buy a lot of copyrighted graphics in the Marketplace and place them in your campaign. If you could then transfer the campaign to another owner, that would send them graphics that perhaps they don't own themselves, possibly infringing copyright. I still think it's a good Suggestion because maybe Roll20 could develop some workarounds or protections for Copyright issues. For example maybe a Marketplace asset could be transferred in ownership, so that the new campaign owner would also become the owner of the Marketplace sets used in that campaign. Not sure how this would work exactly but it seems like a good Suggestion to think about, yet also seems like something that's already been answered why they don't have this already.
