GM looking for players Burning Wheel Gold Saturday Evenings GMT+1

Hello Im a GM with moderate experience looking for some people to play with. I`ll take applications in the form of PMs along with the answers to the following questions. Have you played a RPG before, if so what system and what did you think of it? (New players are still welcome ofc) What are you looking for in your roleplaying? (tactic oriented combat, character driven stories etc) What kind of character concepts do you enjoy playing? Sorry about the bothersome questions but finding the right players for both the system and the game itself helps with creating a better game. So abit more info about Burning Wheel then. Burning wheel is a system that focuses on the characters beliefs and ambitions which are generated with a quite in-depth character generation( We will have a char gen/tutorial session when possible). Other then that the system uses skills and attributes with d6 dice pools which you roll against target numbers to generate successes ( Kinda like in Whitewolfs storyteller system or in Shadowrun). Races (Elves, Dwarves and Humans) and magic are somewhat tolkien-esque in their presentation. Combat and magic is handled with some pretty technical sub-systems whom i will use lighter versions of until we get more used to the system. Which means that magic might not work quite as intended at first but we`ll come up with something until we introduce the intended sub-system. Social "combat" is also handled by a similar sub-system. What voice program will be used? Skype? What kind of setting are you planning to use? From what I've heard, there isn't a setting in the Burning Wheel book.

Yep We`ll use skype As for the setting i`ll use what the system itself implies (Immortal tolkien-esque elves, greedy craftsmanship focused dwarves etc) other then that the setting is fairly low magic, with magic users being rare. The only other major thing in this setting would be that the races you will be playing as (elves, dwarves and humans) have built a wall around the landmass that they call home to keep the more monstrous races out. So you`ll get quite a bit of freedom when coming up with character and we`ll define more of the setting as we go along

So I am interested in playing Burning Wheel. Read the rules and liked them at first glance. 1. I am a GM for my group that I had played with for ~2 years, but never was a PC, just GM. 2. Interesting characters and worlds. I like combat in moderation (60%RP, 40%Combat) 3. Never played as a PC. But I like the idea of a flawed character that tryes to fix himslef or help others but even in his best efforts he still does more damage than good. (brute melee kinda guy).
