[Pathfinder] Flexible Schedule Game II

Hey, fellas. Recently, I started a thread here and at Roll20 to look for players to make a Pathfinder game with a flexible schedule - which would work better for players who don't have fixed work or class hours. It went pretty well, and we made two groups that are playing at the moment. I'm looking to make one more because we just had too many people on those two groups already, so I want +3 more players and 1 DM to make a third one. So, if you are interested, here's the gist: Flexible schedule . No fixed day of the week to play - a date is decided after each session. Commitment . After a date is set, players are expected to make it to the date. If something comes up, the rest of the group keeps playing... but the missing player continues to gain XP. Missing too many games in a row might get you dropped though. GM is the boss . GM gets final say on everything. Any rules disputes are settled AFTER the game in private, not during the game. Let's not slow down play! Roll20? The basic idea is to combine Roll20 with Skype or Ventrilo to set up the game. I'm pretty well-versed in Roll20, so I can help any GMs looking to learn how to use it. Well, if anyone is interested in GMing or PCing in this kind of game, post here to let me know! PM or post here with the following information: 1. Would you like to DM? 2. What days of the week would you be interested in playing? 3. What hours of the day would you like to play? (Indicate time zone!) 4. Do you need help with the rules? 5. What kind of player are you? 6. What kind of character do you want to roll?
i am interested in joining 1. no not really i have gm before but this time i want to be a player. 2. i am open to any day of the week. 3. sometime from early afternoon to late at night i am in usa cst time zone 4. no i have played for many yrs i am familiar with almost all rules that are made by pathfinder. 5. i like to play the mix classes like magus and summoner are my top two. i like 50% rp/50% battle. 6. i would prob play a Dhampir with Alternate Racial Traits day born magus
I think I could get behind this. I do have some set times where I -couldn't- play but a lot of my schedule is flexible. If it became an issue where everyone else's schedule conflicted with mine, I'd just step down to open up the spot. On a side note: I do actually have a Ventrilo server we could use if no one else could provide one. 1. Only if absolutely necessary. I haven't played in a good Pathfinder game in a while and would prefer to play. 2. I could pretty much play any day but Thursday, but Fridays, Saturdays, and occasional Sundays I have time restrictions (2/month game on sundays, game on fridays, and I do MMO raiding on Saturday mornings.) 3. I'm CST. If it was Friday or on one of my Gaming Sundays, I'd prefer it earlier, same with Tuesdays as I have a class that evening. Every other day is pretty much available for the evening except when I have work. 4. Yeah, no. I'm a little -too- familiar with the rules, so I won't need any help. 5. I've been called a min-maxer before, but it's gotten boring of late so I tend to make interesting characters over statistically superior characters. 6. I'm pretty much up for playing anything, and would be willing to fill a needed roll. I've played a game with damn near every race/class in the game so far, but I'm inclined to try one of the few remaining Hybrid classes that I haven't played yet if I can.
I'd love to give this a shot. 1. Nah, I'm interested in playing only. 2. I have a nine-to-five job and I prefer to play during weekdays. 3. EST. Greetings from Canada. 4. Nope. PF is probably my favorite system at the moment, and I've played it pretty recently. 5. Statistically I'm not much of a min-maxer, but I try my best to be useful and somewhat versatile and also try to enable other players to do the same. When it comes to the game itself I enjoy a fast-paced 6. Depends entirely on the campaign, GM, and what other players are rolling up, but I've recently been leaning towards one of those squishy-casty type characters since I've never played one before.
I replied to you on reddit but decided to copy+paste here just in case! Hi there! I have experience with Pathfinder as I have DM'd two campaigns over the last year! That being said, I'd really like to be able to hop in and play for once. A) I would really prefer not to. B) I'm available every day just about. Whatever works best for the group, I'll be there! C) I would prefer to play no earlier than 4 o'clock pm PST, but I can manage to play earlier if need be! D) Nope! Unless there are homebrew/house rules that the DM decides upon. E) Very casual and open-minded. I love roleplaying and I'm very supportive inside and outside of combat. Screw all that infighting noise. F) I'm willing to roll for a number of different characters, depending on what the party needs/prefers. I would personally prefer to either roll for a human male Lawful Neutral Summoner or a human female Chaotic Good Swashbuckler Rogue.
Keep em coming! I'll take applications until Tuesday. We might make two groups out of this too.
Let me play

Kavont B. said: Let me play Please expand by answering the above questions! Hans H. said: Hey 1) Im interested in being gm 2) really flexible for the next months 3) like 2) 4) i hope understood them but i might need some gametime too get used to them 5) GM yay PM me with some general details about your preferences in terms of: - class/race restrictions - how many players you want? - would you do an AP or an homebrew? - other preferences! We are likely making two groups so it's almost certain you'll get to DM!
If you're still looking for people... 1> I would be happy to GM, though most of my experience is for the Kingmaker AP, and I'm not sure I would have time each week to do the necessary preparation for a homebrew. (I could do other APs if people wanted, including Rise of the Runelords, Jade Regent, Wrath of the Righteous, Shattered Star, or possibly Skull & Shackles.) 2> Any day of the week except Friday would be best. Friday is possible every now and then, but not on a regular basis. 3> PDT timezone, and prefer to start no earlier than 6pm on weekdays. Any time of day is fine for weekends. 4> Nope! 5> I prefer to build flavorful characters with rich histories and lots of roleplaying when possible. When GMing, I try to adjust the mix of combat/RP according to the group, but I definitely enjoy RP more. 6> Depends on the setting. I have a few different ideas floating around in my head, including both casters and dex-based fighters.
