Any Miniature Games?

Does anybody here run any miniature games on Roll 20, like Warhammer, Hordes, Warmachine, or anything of the like? I have been interested in mini games for a long time, but have nobody to game with. I would love to maybe sit in and watch some games and eventually play some. I just can't warrant laying down the money to get started in the games, when I have nobody to play them with. With that in mind, does Roll20 work well for such games? It seems like with the map and token features it would not be to bad at all.

There are miniature games here along with board games like axis & allies. I would recommend you posting a LFG interest check in the Looking for Group forums to see if anyone has a game running that has an open spot.

Some of those games are available options in the LFG search engine , too. You can search for versions of Warhammer in the "Playing Any Of These Games" field, or you can type the game-title / brand-name / or generic style terminology in the keyword field if you're looking for a game that's not in the "Playing" drop-down menu.
I was in a league for Warhammer 40k, using the images from the Vassal mods floating around out there. As well as myself having all the Battlefleet Gothic images loaded for use. The game works amazingly well, with a very few shortcomings (line of sight definitely has to be agreed upon before the start of battle!)

Melt them down and pour into your computer's air vents. Make them into electromagnets and put them on your monitor (works best with CRTs). Superglue them to the monitor. Hire a group of mice to watch the screen, then move the minis around on your table to match. Geez, Vince, use your imagination! It's like you're not even trying! q;} -Phnord the Sarcastic

If you lay your 64" LCD flat on the kitchen table, the metal miniatures scale perfectly with the map editor... I'm not stupid, I used felt pads under the minis so I wouldn't scratch the screen. I just need to get this thing mounted back up before my wife gets home. :-P
Ooooh... 64" video monitor? I'll help ya hook it back up if you GM a game on it! I'll even chip in for the pizza and beer! Party at Vince's place!!! Lemme know when you get the minis! -Phnord

Justin, Your post is off-topic for our site. When you signed up for Roll20 you agreed to abide by our Code of Conduct and this post violates the Intended Use section of the code. Since this is a sales pitch about roleplaying material, you’d be better served posting it on a general RPG site, like reddit/r/rpg or ebay.
We play WFB among friends and imho in its current state Roll20 works significantly better than a physical table. When we started things were not so well :)
