New member looking for some tips - Cthulhu 6th ed.

New to Virtual tabletops and roll20.net... So i'm running a Cthulhu game and have had a quick play around with the system before i delve in and start running it. I'm using the Character sheets already found on this site for 5th Edition (thanks to original author whose name escapes me right now), suits my needs fine, but i was wondering what else Roll20.net can offer. I'm using Teamspeak for our audio and we're not using video. I've no real need for hexes or grids, I've got jpgs of all the maps i need and i'll sketch out the other encounter maps on the fly. I'm going to make an "Investigators Board" page where they players have full access to tinker with ideas, links and possible motives. It's up to them to populate it. I've made other pages, some with scene specific info, some with group specific info, e.g. Hotel map, people staying there, links to each other etc etc. The players can request NPC tokens to be put onto these boards if they become suspects etc etc. I've made a 2d10 percentile macro (cause 1d100 wasnt available in 3d dice, which we all love). Is there anything else i could do that would be great for us to use. Any thoughts appreciated. Gavin

Gavin, I'm moving your thread to the Specific Questions forum. To answer your question, I love having audio tracks set up for different scenes I have planned. I label them by scene and leave myself GM notes on the GM layer to remind me to queue music when I move my players to a new scene. There is a turn tracker that will track initiative in combat that's handy. I personally love the 3D dice and they're getting a big overhaul in the Update of Holding coming soon. For CoC I'd imagine dynamic lighting could be a cool feature if you're interested in subscribing. Check out the rest of the features here .
