Ctrl + L Not working?

I've become very relient on Ctrl +L to see what my fighter (can see farthest) can see when building my maps. Building a map for tonight's game and all of the sudden Ctrl + L is not working at all. Is this a known issue, cause I searched around and couldn't find anything.
