Dragon Looking for Rider

Hey there. This could be in the wrong place...? Gonna go ahead and say that is a 75% chance but not sure where else to throw this. ... anyway, I wanted to ask for a buddy, basically, to go running into a campaign with. Now said campaign isn't mine and has yet to be found but I figure for ma character idea it would probably be best worked out if I found someone willing to follow it up with me from the get go instead of hoping that (A) the GM of said unfounded (pathfinder) game is alright with the dragons detailed in "In the Company of Dragons" in his/her campaign, and (B) one of the other players would be willing to throw some feats into making something that sounds so cool a reality. Basically I was entertaining the idea of creating a dragon and rider who would fight together using teamwork feats and a blending of their other skills. I could see this working really well in both a tank/melee situation or a double burst situation (Rider and dragon using magic to explode stuff). Figuring out how the characters deal with each other would be fun character drama and if this works out as well as it sounds like it might they would be quite powerful together too. That's the general idea. I'm mainly looking for someone who thinks this might be fun to try out in a campaign with me but would also like to hear some feed back if there is anything useful people feel they could add to this (probably already done) idea. I would be willing to go for just about any alignment and class combination for the dragon and rider but I would prefer they be further from evil if possible to preserve there companionship an I would definitely be playing a male dragon. So ya that's it. Oh and I'm new to the site so heya. GMed a few games so far and look forward to getting to know people who like pathfinders as much as I do :D
The closest thing I can imagine is having a gnome or any small-sized creature sit on the back of a large half-dragon character. I'm not particularly sure if Pathfinder has any creation rules for dragon characters, but sounds like a particularly neat idea.

"In the Company of Dragons" is a third party resource available on pazio written for pathfinder that details how to create whole dragon characters. Nothing half dragon or the like. Although the dragon starts out small (for the sake of not being ridiculously over powered early) it grows as it levels up. At 4th or 5th level, depending on your dragon type, you go from being a small class creature to a normal class creature. Again this is a full dragon mind you, officially a quadruped though able to use weapons and armor at a penalty, but otherwise wings, tail, jaws, elemental breath: the works. They even get a slight buff to their carrying capacity which makes me believe, since you are penalized for wearing even light armor as a dragon, it might have been an intended possibility for the class. Edt - and at 8th level the dragon becomes a large creature class. Even if a high strength normal size dragon couldn't carry a regular humanoid (would have to be a very heavy person) a large class dragon would have no issues.
