Experienced Central Time Pathfinder DM LFP Tonight!

Hey guys, my name's Gray and I've had about ten years of DnD experience. I use a very player-driven, improvisational DMing style, and love teaching new players the game if they're willing to put themselves out there and play. I typically work best with parties that enjoy roleplay and world-interaction, and I try to only run combat encounters when they're actually relevant- i.e. no random meaningless encounters. If you want to go raid a dungeon, I'm all for it, but I don't like just having goblins attack you guys on the road without a reason behind it other than "combatyay". And, just in case, I will say that I'm hoping to try out the E6 variant rules if this campaign makes it that far. If you don't know what that is, the easiest way to explain it is that it prevents PCs from owning the world simply because they're high level and powerful. I want my game to be realistic- even if you are the best swordsman in all the land, that doesn't mean you can't be killed by someone else. E6 promotes strategy and planning for bigger encounters rather than level grinding. So please, if you're interested, leave me a message here on the thread with a little bit about yourself and any questions or concerns you may have, and I'll PM you with my Skype information if appropriate.
Hey Gray ! It was a good read and I'd like to play with you ! I'm still new on roleplay, but my experience so far has been really great and I want to continue ! I'm not use to talk with people other than friends, but I want to be less shy and I think roleplaying is really great tool for me getting out of my shell. I played like 7-8 sessions before, I think I can handle most of the rules. Also, I didn't know about E6 variant rules, but that sounds great. I like the idea of the game being more realistic My TimeZone is UTC +1 and I'm 23. If you're interested feel free to PM ;)
Are you looking to run a game in a homebrew setting, or a module/adventure path?
yeah good question and will this be weekly and whats E6, also I'm in pacaific and if you need a module I do have Serpants Skull if you want it
I don't run modules or adventure paths unless they fit at the time. I set up a world, and the players interact with it and decide their own course. I use the Forgotten Realms setting, but it's *my* Forgotten Realms. The canon serves me, not the other way around.
hmmm I guess, give me a skype buzz on BrenTenkage and we can chat
Two friends and I are looking for a game to get together. What is the regular time that this game will be played. We've been playing for a couple of years now, I've been both and GM and a player (mostly GM), we have just hit a lull and we're looking for a new game, I already have a character in mind. I would greatly welcome a response.
Hey there Gray. I'm looking for a new game to join. I recently was in a DnD 5e game but have gone over pathfinder rules as well to play with a friend. Unfortunately my 5e game disbanded due to lack of players. I'm fairly new to table top games but rules are easy to understand after you read them for a bit. I also got a few session under my belt. I have a female kitsune named Leatha with a complex background so we'd have to go over that. I've also RPed for several years either improvisational or GMed and I love bringing my characters into a world. Though talking is hard for me to exactly portray them well as I'm a horrible actor. Though if you think you'd like me on, PM me. Thanks!
