D&D 4e - DM - Looking for 5 adventurers! (Friday or Sunday nights)

Day : Friday 7:30 - 10:30 PM EST OR Sunday 7:00 - 10:00 PM EST System : D&D 4e Experience : All players new or experienced will be welcomed! World : My own creation with player assistance Synopsis : Calling all Adventurers! The City of Bavaria seeks 5 brave souls to band together to explore, find treasure and smite the foes placed before you. Communications : Skype or Google Hangouts (audio) and Roll 20 (visual) DM Expectations : Players to attempt to Role Play (think about what your character would do, say, act in the situations put before them). Players to treat each other with respect (this should be something fun). Players to contribute to the game with a good back story and world building Players to have fun together but also take the game in a somewhat serious manner Players to respect that the DM has the final say (NO rules lawyers mid game!) Hello I played quite a bit of 4E but stopped around when the Dark Sun era was (give or take). I have played DND for about 10 years now and love roleplaying and gaming with a good group of people. Friday for me is better any time after 3pm EST Well i have no experience at all but would love to join in on the fun and have a great experience though i have joined at DnD 3.5 session for fridays in the morning so i should have some experience buy the time your game starts in the afternoon(for me) Male

Hi, 1. Sunday 2. No other roleplaying games other than SW EotE. Been playing 4E since 2013, and currently in a campaign that has been going for almost two years.Very experienced with Roll20. 3. Male A little bit about me: I prefer the "yes, and..." style of play. Collaborative roleplaying, player agency, no mundane skill checks, interesting failure... Rules and rolls decide what happens, players (this includes gm) discuss what kind of game they want and stick to it, keeping the tone relative to the context. I prefer fun over simulation/realism. The GM shouldn't say "you can't do that because..." unless the reason is rules. The players shouldn't try to do things that are against the spirit of the game they've agreed to play. Rule questions and disagreements should be discussed between sessions, not during. If this sounds like the type of game you'd like to run, then I am very interested in joining :) Thanks for your consideration!

Hello, 1. Your play time are perfect for Sunday, I could also do Friday but Sunday is best. 2. Been playing 4.0 for about 5 years. Most of it as a DM 3. Male, names Tim, 26 years old Most of my previous campaigns have been more role play/ storyline types, but I personaly love any type of campaign. I would be willing to play the character needed in the group, not just the one I want. I do have a friend who wants to play ( male mid 40s). He is newer to the game but he has been learning. I hope I make the cut and see you in Bavaria.

Good morning all! First off I wanted to Thank each and everyone of you for posting your interest. I thought it would have been a total flop, but as usual I was wrong. I have reviewed my schedule and it appears that Friday will be the best night. I will create a game page and invite the people I have choosen to the game. The game will not start immediately (NEW DM, I need to figure out this system on the DM side) most likely 2 week start ahead. This will let me get to know each of the players and also allow the players to build and create a good back story for their character Again Thank you for posting your interest Shawn D

My self and a friend, both 28 year old males, would be interested in joining your game. Friday nights would work out the best for us, but Sunday's wouldn't for myself unfortunately. We are experienced in 4e and wouldn't need to adhere to a learning curve. We both also have a lot of experience with RP in general and are hoping the group you put together does as well. We are looking for a group around the same age as us, with a good since of humor who wants to play and progress the story but never forgets that we are supposed to be having fun. I have seen too many groups get ruined by greedy people or people who always want to "win." I also have a subscription to DND Insider to help facilitate creating characters.

Update - I just wanted to let you know that I will be putting together the game page Friday night. I will be working with a friend to figure out how things work on the DM side (# NEWBIE-DM-PROBLEMS) of the screen. I will also be reviewing the posts of interests above, and will send an invite to those selected to participate in the game by 9:00 PM EST on Sunday. The game will be open for those invited to start discussing character choices, create back stories, and learn about the world that we will be exploring together. I am planning on the game officially starting on Friday March 13th! (ahhh what am i thinking about trying something new on Friday the 13th .... o well to hell with superstitions!) If you are selected to play and already have made other arrangements please let me know immediately so that I can invite a different player. Again thank you for your patience!

REAL LIFE SUCKS! Once again real life has foiled my plans! I am unfortunately going to cancel the game I was planning. I am going to have to do stuff around the house in attempt to put it up for sale. The time I would need to properly plan and schedule a game will now be filled with painting and repairing things. The idea still remains, and I will attempt to get this back up and running once REAL LIFE settles back down... Sorry for this inconvenience
