Rod, you might enjoy joining my Conspriacy Rules/Dark Conspiracy 3e game I'm trying to assemble. I checked your link and thought that, "Dark, serious, and gritty," fit fairly well. There does tend to be a fair bit of combat, but mostly because the game has a theme of literally fighting the darkness threatening to swallow humanity, but combat in this game is of a fairly serious sort - we aren't talking magical healing and abstract hps, but situations where a serious wound to an leg takes you out of a fight and typically threatens the entire team to the point where escape then becomes the priority. It is also strong on the old-school cyberpunk (more Dick and Ellison, less Stephenson and Gibson, in other words, heavy on the low-life, light on the high-tech). Yes, I'm shameless, but I really want to build up a group to test some rules I've drafted for the company currently producing the game...I've received permission from them to make certain sections of the core book available for this purpose and they're really itching to get at least a partial test completed before they look at the current draft.
