Great article on how to draw a fantasy map, step by step, to make it look cool

Very nice tutorial. I've read that one and others like it on Cartographer's Guild forums. Map-making is a great topic to learn about for any RPG player. Even if you aren't drawing maps, it's useful to be able to visualize how physical spaces are composed and represented.
Vince, I hear you. I more often run games with cinematic pictures in the background than maps anymore (and we also don't play games that are dungeon crawls anymore either though..at least on VTT ;)

I think I'll give it shot. I put together pretty cool maps using geomorphic tiles, often modified, but making one by myself completely is something I've been wanting to do for a while. You can find free tiles you can put together in no time here, along with a few maps already made by the way in case you're interested (with the perfect size for Roll20): Dungeon Channel Hope that helps!
