[Interest check/LFP] New DM LF New Players for D&D 5E lvl 1 homebrew (GMT+1, Fri/Sat 8PM-ish)

Introduction Just a preliminary interest check, really. I am returning to TTRPGs after a hiatus of more than a decade. Played a lot of AD&D in the 90's, both as player and DM, just recently got into the 5th edition, liking it so far. I'd like to start DM-ing regular roll20 campaign, preferably with new/newish players, so we can get into this edition together. Campaign I'm working on a homebrew campaign, possibly set in an Eberron-like world, with some influences from Planescape- mixing traditional fantasy elements with some Sci-Fi/Steampunk. Nothing concrete yet. It might be a while before we'll be able to start playing, but let me know if you're interested! Looking for I'd love to get into this with a group of 3 to 5 preferably relatively new players, so we can discover the 5th edition of D&D together. I like a good mix of role and rollplaying, so every playing style is welcome. I'm in the Netherlands and have a full-time job and kids, so playing time will probably be Fridays or Saturdays, after eight in the evening. GMT+1 timezone. Language: English. I have free Fridays. I would gladly join a game with mature players which favors role playing over roll playing. Do you have any experience with GM part of Roll 20? Will you use battle maps / grids for combat? Can you give us more info about your world? Would it be story driven campaign or player driven / sand box?

@spellsword: No experience as GM on roll20, just as a player so far. But, yes I am planning to use grids for combat. World/campaign is still in the making, but there will definately be a story element to it in the beginning, hopefully allowing for more freedom as I gain more experience...

Hey what's up, I'm in the EST timezone, been looking for a game for a while, Fridays and Saturdays are good for me, I've never actually played 5e and I've only played a oneshot on 3.5e once and barely remember the rules so I'm pretty much completely new to d&d altogether. I'd love to play as a slot on my weekends has just opened up and I'm looking for something to fill it, if you're up for throwing me into the game that'd be great, go ahead and message me if you want to ask me anything.

I am new to 5e as well and have only played one game. I would love to get involved with this especially if it were on Friday or Saturday nights! Let me know if this takes! I enjoy rolepay over rollplay but enjoy a good game either way! Been playing dnd since 2e. Cheers fellas!

I would definetly like to sign up. I am from the Netherlands myself and I ussually have Saturdays and friday nights off as well. I wont be able to make it 2 days in a row or every week So I hope we can work out a every other week schedule?? I still have a family at home with little kids I have to take care off.
