AD&D 2nd ed DM looking for UK based players to join his homebrew campaign.

Playing on Sunday evening, 8:00 -11:00 experienced players preferred.
Hi Dai here from Wales been trying to find a game for a while but due to work and time zones am finding is hard to join one. The day and time is great for me , the only thing is I have limited experience of Roll20 and RP so If you find yourself short of a player and fancy giving a newbie a go let me know. Joined a local games club a few months ago and been trying out a few different RP's GURPS - Cleric, Pathfinder - Cleric, World of Warcraft - Arcane Wizard.

Nice offering. Would like to hear more about your homebrews. I'm running a 2E homebrew campaign as well (from the US mid-day, got 2 UK players in my group). Wish I could join yours too Caine, but I'll be focusing on the one I'm DM'ing for a while. I will send you a message about the 2E Tavern, which is another place in Roll20 to crosspost your game pitch if you would like.
David.H you are welcome to join. We have no official start date yet so we can get you up to speed :) I will send you an invite shortly. Gold, that would be much appreciated, thank you.
Thanks would love to join look forward to hearing from you.
I will let all my European players know about this.
Thanks Chris :)
I'm abit hesitant to post here since you prefer experienced players. And I've not played AD&D myself, so for actual experience in AD&D I have none. I have seen it in action on ItMeJP's rollplay show. And I've played several crpg's that uses the AD&D system. So while I may be familiar with some aspects off the system, and should be able to pick it up faster than someone who has had no exposure to the system. That still leaves me in a position where learning and guidance will be needed. I live in Norway, so I'm in the CET timezone. Which is UTC +1. And if I'm reading the timeanddate website correct. the UK is running on GMT right now. So that puts me +1 compared to you. Which brings me to my availability. The time window I had originally considered as reliable for me was 1900-2400 CET or 1800-2300 your time. Which fit the time you have set. It is worth noting that going beyond 2400 CET (2300 your time) becomes problematic since the walls in this house ins't very soundproof. Which mean I likely would have to talk at a lower volume and in a softer voice if it goes beyond the current mentioned end time. But if my experience, or lack thereof in this case, and my timezone/availability isn't a problem then feel free to give me a poke. I can send you the whole introductory wall off text if need be as well. I figured I give you the short and most relevant part off it for now since if ether off the two points turn out to be a dealbreaker for you. Then the rest off that introduction becomes irrelevant.
Hey Caine, Ken here from Staffordshire UK. Love the idea of getting some 2nd Ed. play. Pretty versatile player here who likes all kinds of play styles. Shoot me a PM if you still need any players. I'm sure i can fill any gaps. thnx for reading. Ken.
