Hello ladies and gentlemen, Are you tired of playing low level characters? Are you tired of running from goblins? Are you into world building and myth-making? Well, I’ve got something that will cure your ills. Let’s play some god level games. I’m looking for people interested in playing a game called DAWN of Worlds. You can find the rules here. http://clanwebsite.org/games/rpg/Dawn_of_Worlds_game_1_0Final.pdf Please take a moment to look over the rules before replying to make sure that it’s something that would be interesting for you. Understand that this will be a heavily modified version of the above rules and will require serious players dedicated to long term play. So if you’re interested in some committed world building endeavors please take a moment and look over the rules and get back to me. Also this will require a good level of writing skill as this will be text based as well as writing myths and small vignettes are expected. My goal is the create a world that we can use to run games in later, if there is interest for that, and each player will be able to contribute to the history of that world. Making the world richer and deeper through their input. Thanks for taking a look and looking forward to playing with you all. Just and FYI this will run late nights 10PM EST (-5GMT) Day isn’t set yet.
Just an FYI I'm looking for about 10 players.
I saw your post and Loved what I read on your link. I would be more than ecstatic to join. I have an open schedule except for Sundays.
Great to hear. Now all we need is nine more players. :D
Well you know im down.
Just for fun this is the world we'll be working on.
This sounds very interesting.
Hello there! I printed out this small rules booklet for use if I ever wanted to hand-make a fantasy world with friends, and then move to an actual system :) I would love to role play this with you guys. CST (GMT -6)
Cool dudes, I just need a few more players.
Ooooh, this sounds really interesting, fun, and different. I'd be interested as well!
I tried this once. It can be very chaotic and you'll probably end up with players who don't like what other players have made unless you have guidelines. on the other hand, good luck.

I'll start my "ground rules" section once I have enough people to make it worth doing. I figured something like this would be strange enough that it wouldn't attract that much interest but the amount of replies is encouraging. I mean it's not 5th edition or pathfinder so sort of overwhelmed with the response I've gotten. Do you have any specifics that would be helpful for making this game move smoothly?
I would love to play!
I too throw my godly hat into the arena. This sounds amazing to play and probably will practice with a couple of my friends later tonight. :D
That was my plan as well xD

In my Experience with the game, it ran well. We played it on a forum though. I think as long as everyone is properly briefed on the rules and what they can do then the game will go along smoothly. I would suggest players picking out domains for the gods, or something like that.

I love the sound of this but alas am GMT so it would be impossible for me, a full time working father of three to take part *sad face*. It would be awesome to find some way to see the game develop... a blog perhaps for those of us who would like to follow the progress of the gods but can't be one for whatever reason... *hopeful face* Out of interest, how much will take place during the official sessions as 'Also this will require a good level of writing skill as this will be text based as well as writing myths and small vignettes are expected' sounds difficult to manage in a set amount of time...?
I love the idea of creating a world and am interested in being a part of this. I've always been of the opinion that the setting makes the game, and being able to be a part of creating that setting would be wonderful. Having a complex world is the best way to have great story.
I have seen this before and wanted to play it several times. The time works for me, but It would need to be saturday/sunday. as I am in university, and already host dnd games on tues/thursday nights.
Still looking for a few good men and women for the game.
I'm PST, and could absolutely join in this on any days except tuesday and friday (friday is negotiable, frankly)

I'd definitely be interested depending on the day. I'm EST, and I can play Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays.
Bump, just checking if this is still a thing?
Yeah, I am still interested as well /:
It will, but not for a while yet. That is why I was checking for interest first. Keep the faith true believers it will happen the level of interest is there. I need to put together an addendum to the rules however and before that I've got to move, sorry.
