General question about activating your campaign in the LFG and why isn't Trail of Cthulhu an option?

I activated my Trail of Cthulhu campaign but when I sign in with my other account and search for it, nothing comes up. What comes up is a bunch of games not even related to ToC. Does it take time for this to show up? Also, why can't there be a "playing" drop down option for Trail of Cthulhu? The only options is Call of Cthulhu (Any Edition) which is annoying since ToC is a whole different game system.

It generally takes a few hours for a game to appear in the directory.

Earlier on in the beginning of roll20, you use to be able to just type in what system you were running. Due to the fact that no one would spell the same system the same way and there was many complaints about not being able to find a system due to how many variations people would use, the devs decided to make a general standardize list. They researched the most common systems that were being played on roll20 then made the list. It gets update every so often when a game system is requested lots of time or becomes very popular. The more recruitment posts or games being ran in that particular system, the more likely that system will get added to the list. What is the add point, that is for the devs to review and decide. This is my understanding on the matter. As Genkitty so graciously said, it takes a few hours (generally about 2hrs, give or take) for the servers to sync up and distribute the updated campaign listings. Some shards will see the list faster then others but over all give it around 2 hrs then check back on it. Think ripples in a pond for a general analogy. Hope this helps explain why things are the way they are now.

You can still put "Trail of Cthulhu" in your campaign description text & it will come up if someone types that in the Matching Keywords field on the LFG search engine. That's the best way to find game titles that aren't in the drop-down, so make sure you put the title in the Description and Keywords of your campaign. I recommend to list it under "Other Games" in the drop-down , by the way, or another general category if it fits like "Story games" or "Old School Revival" depending on what kind of game it is. I don't think there is a "Horror" general category though, again, just use keywords that you want people to find it by and hopefully that will work for finding a group, as well as, essentially, alerting Roll20 to the fact that it is a game that's seeing recruitment and listings among the "other" games.
