I have a modern and traveller game and in the future I want to resuse NPCs (modifying them campaign to campaign) is there a way to do this? I dont want to keep remaking the same NPC over and over again, sure its faster than starting from scratch but it would be nice If I can move them and alter them from game to gave.

go to your campaign page. that is the one you see before you launch the board and look down on the left bottom listing. you should see copy/extend campaign. that will make a clone of your campaign and you can chose what you clone also. take a look and let us know if that helps you do what you want.

That will work, but it sure would be nice to have a simple way to export/import some of the simpler items like decks, rollable tables, etc. With the API we do have the ability to create characters, handouts, attributes, and abilities at the moment.  So in theory you could create a script that writes all the properties of a character lets say to somewhere, lets say an existing text object.  Then the user could copy that text and save it as a text file on their computer.  Then they do the reverse to import it.  A bit of work, but it could be useful?

Hmm... Not really something that can be done with the current state of the API.  We can create characters, attributes, etc.  But there are some key properties that are read only that we can't set.  But in the future I hope we can or even better RIley is able to add some of the import/export functionality.  Don't think its coming anytime soon though. :( But we could probably create soehting that lists all the characters, attributes, etc. in a campaign. THis might help with recreating them in other campaigns. The problem with the method of copy/extend a campaign is that you can't get anything into an existing campaign.  But a print out of some things might help when reentering them?  A possible idea for a script there? Thanks Metroknight! I'll do this for future campaigns.

I wish there was a way to just copy specific things like sheets and handout from one campaign to another existing campaign but there isn't. I think it has been suggested many times also.

I wish I could just share NPCs and maps with other GMs, so all that prep doesn't go to waste and I can share the adventures I worked hard on.
