Excuse me? why Is Paranoia Not one of the Tabletops run here?

Pretty much the title... I have enjoyed playing Paranoia RPG in the past, and would Like to know why it's not an available group choice for roll20
I'm sorry, that information is not available at your security clearance level. Please report to Room 13 for 'debriefing'. -The Computer is Your Friend

Earlier in the beginning of roll20, you use to be able to just type in what system you were running. Due to the fact that no one would spell the same system the same way and there was many complaints by the members about not being able to find a game due to how many variations people would use, the devs decided to make a general standardize list. They researched the most common systems that were being played on roll20 then made the list. The list does get an update every so often when a game system is recruiting lots of time or becomes very popular by demand. The more recruitment posts or games being ran in that particular system, the more likely that system will get added to the list. What is the add point, that is for the devs to review and decide. This is my understanding on the matter.

Hey Pat, can I save your answer somewhere and apply as needed in future threads? :>
Maybe there should be an FAQ here or on the wiki with the most commonly asked questions. This being one of them.

I've been here for almost two yrs, most of the others have been here longer but as I stated up above it is just my opinion and observation.

Kevin said: Maybe there should be an FAQ here or on the wiki with the most commonly asked questions. This being one of them. The wiki is community driven for the most part. It you want a FAQ then email the devs at team@roll20.net and ask them if you can create it and where it can be placed.

In summary it can be played, I would bet my ultraviolet clearance that it is played, and it falls under "Other games" because it does not make up a high enough % of games played to make it worthwhile listing as an individual choice*. *At this time, subject to review.

Type "Paranoia" in the matching keywords field on the LFG. It comes up when there is a game offering. One person is offering Paranoia right now when I just checked. https://app.roll20.net/lfg/search/Paranoia?days=&d... When a game is not one of the top listings that makes it on the Drop-down list of Games, you can still enter the game title in other fields to help it come up, such as Description, Bio, and Keywords of your profile or your game pitch. Many games that are not on the drop-downs, are being run on Roll20.
I wish Roll20 could have an option for all of the D20-based games (D20 Modern, D20 Past, D20 Future, etc) as simply "D20 system." I know that technically DND 3.0, 3.5, and Pathfinder are all D20-based games. But there are a lot of variants that could be caught with that one option, in my opinion.

Erich, feel free to express that with a suggestion post. A suggestion like that would allow other members have a place to voice their opinions and views on it in a constructive manner that could lead to the shaping of roll20
Actually it is available, just not to you...
You can ping off of a dev person / appeal to the gods, and maybe get something approved. I got Traveller and Dragon Age approved. Run a bunch of paranoia games and they might do it. But I can't comment other than that. What Pat S said is 100% accurate .
