Hi all, my name is Ben and I'm looking for a group of 4 players. I have very minimal experience with Roll 20 and I want to become better acquainted with the features and the community before I commit serious time and potentially money to the site. I plan to run a Pathfinder campaign over a minimum of 4 weeks. Characters will start at first level, level up to second level after Session 1, then to third level after Session 3 (assuming that the group works well and gets to the expected story points), so you can expect fairly quick progression through the low, "boring" levels. The game will be run one evening per week, on a week night, after I get home from work (around 7pm GMT start time, 10-11pm GMT end time). My evenings available are Monday and Thursday, we will decide the evening based upon player availability. Before you apply for a position, please consider: * I am used to running games in person, so I will need a little time to get used to a text/voice based way of playing, please bear with me during games * I am used to running games for a wide range of players, so if you bring any form of OOC discrimination into our game, I will have very little tolerance. IC discrimination should be discussed with the group at the first session, so we can work out each others boundaries. Still with me? Excellent. The game is very beginner friendly, no previous experience required. I can provide a pre-genned character if you wish, but otherwise character creation is in your hands. You will make a first level character, using a 20 point buy for stats. The game will use Core Races, and only official Paizo released classes and feats are allowed without discussion with me first. Psionics and Gunslingers (including any feats and classes based on grit or the gunslinger ideals) are not permitted in the setting. No Evil characters allowed, whether secret or blatent. You may select 1 additional Trait for your character after you are done. Your first mission went horribly wrong, and while you learned a lot, you used up a lot of resources for no gain. You begin play with the minimum gold worth of gear for your class, plus an adventurer's kit which will contain the basics for adventuring (flint, tinder, torches, rope, rations, etc). You do not know each other pre-game. You may not take feats or traits which increase your starting wealth. Since I have never run a game for 'faceless' people before (people I don't already know outside of the internet), I would prefer to have a quick IM/email chat with potential players before we begin, just to get to know you a little. If you are a minor in your country, please tell me this beforehand and let me know that your parent or guardian is aware that you are playing in a game which will contain violence and could reference sexual themes (depending upon the party and the direction which they take the game in). I am happy to chat with said parent or guardian if they wish. Finally, this will be a GAME. If you are unable to take light hearted joking and banter in stride and if you cannot take a bad roll at a bad time without throwing a tantrum, please do not join us. I want us all to have fun above all else. Thanks for reading!
