Does anyone play Iron Kingdoms?

Hello, New to this site and trying to find a group to join (if you are looking for an experienced player and DM for a D&D/Shadowrun/Dark Heresy game, message me!) and I was wondering if anyone here plays Iron Kingdoms ? I love the world and concept of its build and looking for similar minded people who either have a group playing or might want to be part of one. Cheers!

The original post was looking for an Iron Kingdoms game; hence, the bold text he used and title. Pathfinder is not said game. Please advertise on another thread. I would love to try it out too, at least a one-shot. Maybe run a one-shot...as long as the GM process isn't overly complex, might be doable. I only looked at player creation stuff.

familiar with the game,played it,have few chars made up but i will not gm. btw if you are interested just in robots or mechs in fantasy setting,try dragonmech.

Realized I really have added more to that. I am currently running one game, and I'm willing to run another , if I can git 3 to 5 people interested.

John W., I would love to get into one if you have exp as a GM. I have some but unfortunately I have never used the system on here to start doing it effectively and would like some gaming time before I launch into being a GM again. I'm sure if we talk about details, there are interested players out there like Calle here. IK is an amazing blend of High Fantasy and renaissance tech. Makes me think of Arcanum the PC game or vice versa. My available days are usually Sunday through Thursday evenings to late. I prefer this as I can never be sure ahead of time where weekends will take me. If you are willing to entertain the idea, then let's chat some more! MadMichael, sorry I did not directly answer you, my reply was cut for some reason on my end (user error haha). I have all the books and exp in IK and can run people through the process this game uses, it's not complicated.

Gonna wait 24 hours, then we will start talking dates and time. There is a fella already running an Iron Kingdoms game, and is short on players. I directed him here, but don't know if he is up trying to keep his going. If he isn't, I will run a game. Yes, I have some experince in running games, and a little running Iron Kingdoms.

Alright. 24 hours have passed. I am willing to run a game in the early part of the week, in the afternoons/evenings. So, Monday to Wednesday, starting about 6pm eastern time. Who is interested, and what days/times can you play. And if yawl could start thinking about what kind of game you want to play (intrigue, mercenary/military, criminal, etc) and a kind of a theme your group has (mercenary, never-do-wells, outcasts, Khador, cursed, etc), I would appreciate it.

I've been trying to get into an Iron Kingdoms game for a while now. I can play Monday, Tuesday, or Friday evenings at 6:30-7PM MST (Arizona Time). I'm about to hit daylight savings time, which we don't exactly have...so that time will be 5:30-6 start time pretty soon. EDIT: As for what I kind of want to play. I do like an investigation bent to the campaign, so a bit of intrigue or combat would be fine with me as well. As for where? Maybe Cygnar or Captured Llaell?

John, Please count me in. I want to start and see how the system works on here and get some gaming done. I am also starting to experiment the system to transfer one of my old campaigns to this system and perhaps run the game in the near future. I am usually available Sunday through Thursday 6pm onwards EST (I just avoid weekends). Mature player here and stable to play short or ongoing. Intrigue/Throne Games sounds fun as long as we can quench our thirst for battle as well. IK is an amazing universe to grow characters in. Thanks and keep me in the loop. :)

6 PM EST is a bit late for me (CET, so it'd be midnight) so I would sadly have to back out if that was the case.

I am looking at Tuesday. Plenty of time to recover from having to be at work on Monday once again, and not interfering with everyone else. I can start earlier, Calle. But no earilier than about 2pm, eastern, and that's pushing it. And that will put the game starting around 8pm your time, if I did the math right. That's still late for a week night, with the other two not joining for four more hours. Gah. Can yawl move a little closer?

I unfortunately can't. I get back from work at 5:30 PM, and in a few weeks, that's basically going to be my low end.

Ack, that's going to be two-three hours too early for me, I will be at work. So I unfortunately can't make it that early.

Reset. Pick a day (Monday to Thursday) and a time in the eastern time zone. Then tell me what a good time. This got way difficult really fast.

I'm good around the 6pm on most weeknights. You guys choose but anything earlier than 5pm is a no go for me (still at work).

Tuesday to Thursday is ok for me from 9am to 3pm EST (europe and there is 6 hours diff.)

Anyone not there at the start can jump in, without any kind of penalty or harassment. And anyone can depart as soon as sleep, family, and work issues arise. For Calle and Frosty...I am kicking around the idea of a shorter game for yawl (plus any friends). Let me know if yawl are interested. How does this strike yawl?

Sounds okay. I'm actually for a shorter game. I like shorter games, get more done in a small amount of time. My Monday is open, so I can do morning or later. I prefer earlier.

Okay, invites via the PM's sent. Character journals (and sheets) set up; just pick a Random character, rename it, and put yer name/screen name into the player's name block. I will be on and off until Monday, so feel free to contact me. Its going to be on the dev server (at least) for now) which shouldn't be an issue since I'm hosting/running the game and have a mentor account. If this is an issue, let me know. I will hold off on contacting Calle if Frosty remains cool with time. Running a game for one can be fun, but...I know not anyone here well enough to make the game fun enough.
