Is there a group willing to teach a noob.

Why hello there, I am new to this kind of thing. For years now I have wanted to try the DnD thing. Just kind of need someone willing to let a brother get his feet wet. I am really interested in playing as a Cleric/Priest or some sort of Mage.
Well if you're looking to learn an acual game like D&D or Pathfinder, then I can't help you. If you want to start off with a simple game though, I'm currently recruiting some extra folk for my campaign "The King's Touch". Which is a homebrew (self made) D&D type game. https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/167552/the-kings-touch-extra-players-wanted-homebrew-newbies-friendly-preview-inside#post-167552 Good luck!
Even for a one-shot game it would be convenient to know what time zone you are in and what days/times you are available.
Central time zone and I am free anytime on the weekends
Reaper's Rookies is on Saturdays 8 in the afternoon (EST) and is looking for two new players. We just lost our cleric and mage. Might behoove you to apply ;)
DnD 3.5 or 4e?
either 3.5 or 4 would be grand
