LFG D&D 3.5 editon (Recruitment Closed)

Hello I'm Michael Pena, I am a freshman college student, and I have discovered a very cool D&D 3.5 system designed for Final Fantasy. It has races and classes from many of the Final Fantasy games. For example you could be a Moogle Black Mage or a Ronso Dragoon or a Mithra Red Mage and many other choices besides. FFD20 uses some variant rules for character creation and game play, also it uses an Magic Point or MP system for magic. I am looking for four to five players for my campaign. this sounds interesting. Always been an FF fan. Whats your time zone and what days were you planning to play on?

my time zone is central,and I plan on playing probably on fridays or saturdays.

I would be interested in this. I can do PMT Saturday pretty much all day.

My time zone is UTC -5 (so it is now about 7:40 PM at the time of this post). I have not thought of a name for my character, but I am planning on making an Al Bhed Chemist. We are starting at first level, right?

Hold on EveryZig on I might put a restriction on race maybe the FFTA races which are Humes, Moogle, Nu Mou, Bangaa, and Viera. I'll let you know very soon. I think we might start out on level three. My idea for the story is the PC's all work at a castle and something's gonna happen, but I'm not sure what. A chemist sounds good for your class.

I would be ok playing a Nu Mou, though I think that if both are present in the setting Al Bhed would fit better for the whole 'chemicals, bombs, guns, and chemical bombs launched from guns' thing Chemists specialize in.

Will we be making characters before or during first sesh? If before then I guess in a couple of days would at least give us good warning of what's good and whatnot.

Everyone have their characters ready before next Saturday. I am putting a race restriction. The races allowed are Bangaa, Hume, Moogles, Nu Mou, and Viera. There are guns, but their the kind of guns that has one shot then reload, because guns are relatively new in this world.

For guns it takes a move action to reload.

Also, how are stats configured? You do the hp by adding the number given for the classes then hit die. For the rest of the stats you do them normally except for MP, but it gives the amount of MP on class chart.

I think he ment like STR and CON and stuff. Do you want us to roll or use a premade array you had in mind?

Roll to find stats. Redo any rolls less than 10

I didn't find any LA rules, so I don't know how to handle. Michael may need to make a ruling there.

I would think not? Reallly only an array would allow legitimacy for a few. Though cheating rules would ruin it for me.
