Hello! Almost 20 years ago I used to play d&d with my mothers bf and his friends ( I was 8-10 ). I absolutely loved it! They broke up and then that was the end of d&d for me. Recently while browsing twitch I found people streaming d&d using roll 20 and it reminded me of how much fun I used to have playing itUnfortunately I don't remember all of the rules, character creation, etc. I would LOVE to start playing again and would love for someone to take me under their wing to help get me started. i will probably be looking to play mon / tue nights; however I am open to different days/ times. Thank you for taking the time to read my post! Hopefully I will be playing with some of you soon.
Best thing I can tell you chris, is wizards of the Coast has a FREE pdf (if you haven't found it yet) just google basic rules d&d 5e. Read it a bit etc. It isn't much different from the Players hand book (though if you have a PHB that's better!).

A lot has changed in 20 years but fortunately you will find groups playing every variation of D&D here, find the ruleset that best fits your youth or suits your current tastes and get stuck in. Most GM's are happy to have new but eager players so just make sure you express your past experiences and desire to get back into it in a serious way and you'll be snapped up in no time :) Welcome to roll20!
You can get free PDFs of the basic rules here .
Thanks for your replies!

What part of the world / time zone are you in? I have an offering of AD&D 2nd Edition, it is on either Mondays afternoon (USA times), or Wednesday afternoon (USA times). It would match up with Monday night if you happen to live in the UK. Write back if you live around GMT or if you can play daytimes USA-times.
US - PST. Both of those times work. I sent you a PM
