LFG D&D 5e - Bard and Druid ideas

I have been playing table top games from on and off for about 15 years. I have been playing D&D 5e for about a year now. I use to be a film major and I like to do character development, as well as improv. I also like to help new people with learning how to play and developing their characters. I am living in Shanghai, China and I play from cafes while here (which actually turns out to be a good thing with a cup of coffee). So please let me know if I make it into the group and which character would fit. Both would be more of a mele DD add with some damage and occasional support spells, not too much healing. So I have two great character ideas. The first one is: Jaxl Rose - He became a famous bard in some parts, many of his tales and songs became house hold favorites, especially among the young. However, he ran out of material to sing about after a number of years and is now criticized and made fun of that he is simply washed up and should give it all up. He has tried to do different things to hold onto his fame and to keep him in the spotlight. However, he decided to go back to adventuring and to gain some new experiences for amazing stories to be had, and songs to be sung from them. Sindarin (Vengeance in Elvish) - He was raised in nature to protect his forest, as well as the creatures inside of it. He was never one that was known to be social, however he would deal with the local kingdoms as they come, to make deals with them to make sure his forest is left at peace and out of the destructive hands of the humans. This worked through the ages, however a newer human kingdom decided to not take the deal, they thought they were more important than the nature of the forest. While Sindarin was gone on an important meeting with other druids from various forest, the human kingdom came in and destroyed the forest. When Sindarin came back, he vowed to get back at the kingdom and to bring it down to smolders. When he saw this, he dropped his full name and adopted the name Sindarin. I am open to play either. I can also adopt the second one to have the forest be destroyed by Dragons to fit more into a story as well, it just requires a bit of simple editing.
Looking to join 1-2 more D&D groups, about 7pm PST is ideal for me.
