Off Topic Section.

I know off topics tend to be harder to moderated but I find it a lot less forthcoming when it comes to people finding a place to talk about certain ideas and content related to tabletop gaming. This will get drowned out by other posts I'm sure but if you do so happen to read this as a user of roll20 and you can agree there needs to be a corner on every forum for off-topic posts then just copy and paste this post so it stays recent.

We use to have an off-topic forum but due to flamefest and such, it was closed down. We usually recommend anyone that is going to post something that is not related to roll20 itself to post it in another site that is geared for that discussion such as reddit/rpgs, one of the many game system forums, or other similar sites.

There used to be a General OffTopic forum, but it was closed. Here's the quote from the blog post where the close was announced: We’ve also archived several boards, including the Off-Topic discussion area. With the rapid growth of Roll20, we find ourselves wanting to focus our time on bettering the program, and this was a simple way to help. There has been an update to the Code of Conduct reflecting this and other related changes— please read it carefully. I don't think they're going to re-open the forum. Roll20 forums are for discussing Roll20 , and it is part of the Code of Conduct when you signed up for an account. There's a ton of other places one can discuss general gaming, or other topics.
