Macros and Character Names

I am not sure what I have done wrong, but when I place macros on the table, it always puts the character name in front of it (ie: Neese DeVakkle: Initiative). What I am curious about is can I remove the name from the front? No one else can see my macros on the VTT so there is no need for the name it appear in front of the named macros. I am a Co-GM, so I can doo-daddle and fiddle-faddle whatever doohickies need hornbozzled to make it work.
Unfortunately, when you have the macros as Abilities in the character sheet, then it adds the name in front like that. If you go to the Setting tab (the gear symbol in the upper right), you can add macros there as well, those will not show a name. If you just copy/paste, you have to make sure that they still work, and you might have to re-add the attributes, or manually change them. Instead of @{attribute} it's now @{name|attribute}

The reason it has names in front like that is because people can have different Ability macros from different NPCs up at the same time.  Example: I have Ability macros from an Orc and a Goblin up at the same time. I need to differentiate them somehow so their macros start with 'Orc' and 'Goblin' respectively.  Regular Macros (under the settings) do not have this preface since they are via the player and not via the Character Sheet. - Gauss
Thanks for the help guys. Be nice to have a setting under the macros of the character sheet to have some more control over them. I really REALLY hate the 1 bar for macros thing too. Be nice to have multiple rows, use an image instead of text, or even make them dockable on the VTT.
I agree with the above.  The macro bar is a pain to have to scroll left and right.  Simply stacking them would be great.  Being able to toggle the name on the macro on and off would also be a really useful.
I definitely appreciate the macro bar but I can relate with the frustration of having to scroll across on the bar. As the GM I've created over 75 macros in the campaign so far. Before each session I have to add and subtract what macros I'll be using in the session. Having the name in front of the macro makes the scrolling bar even longer.
How about changing their size?  Maybe in the same way you can move them, you could resize and they would automatically truncate the name. Stacking would be great too.  That way you could have all the macros for one character stacked.  If they were smaller you could have quite a few visible before they took up any serious real estate.  The absolute optimum for me would be as above with the ability to change the names of the macros.  The would be then, once and forever, truly powerful!
There have been multiple threads in the suggestion forums relating to ways that people would like to see the macro bar changed. &nbsp;I believe this was the most recent:&nbsp; <a href="https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/152917/macro-bar-limitations#post-161096" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/152917/macro-bar-limitations#post-161096</a> If you'd like, you can add to the discussion there since several of you seem to have some good ideas and a desire to see some changes made. &nbsp; If you don't feel that it quite covers what your asking for, you can also start a new thread to talk about what you'd like to see. :)&nbsp;
