Hand control over to another GM?

Okay, so here is the situation... Me and another GM were sharing a game room... I ran Mage, he ran M&M DCA... We alternate... Anyway... We decided, for ease of clutter, to split the game up to two rooms. So we copied it... But he's the only one who can edit things like the name and time even though I am GM. If it possible to hand it off? Do we need a mod to do it? How do we set it up?

Each campaign board is tied to the original creator. That means if the other GM was the original creator and cloned the campaign, he is the one that has total control over all. You being the upgraded to GM only have control inside the campaign game itself while you will not have any control with the description, lfg listing, and other stuff. For you to have the complete control, you would have to create your own campaign and manually copy/paste everything you want over to it.
Pat, can I do that by copying over characters and journals and such?

You would have to hand copy everything from the other members campaign. Nothing is transferable through the use of the transmogrifier or cloning. Each campaign is tied directly to specific accounts. The owner of the campaign has the ability to share info only in his owned campaigns not transfer it to another members campaign. Basically it boils down to this: A=member 1 campaign(s), B=member 2 campaign(s) A can transfer/clone to A (he/she owns them all) B can use A with permission A can not can not transfer/clone to B (two separate accounts) Hope this explains it some.

If the campaign is set up to allow import/export from the vault, you could use the vault to transfer characters. But that is all.

That's correct Diana and I think the person exporting to the vault has to be assigned that sheet as edit/controlled by (never tried so that is more assumption on my part than official)

The campaign owner can use the vault on any of the characters. I don't know about someone who is promoted to GM, however. Otherwise, yes, you would have to have edit/control rights on the sheet.

Yup but that is why I said I think. The original poster, Henry, is desiring to move specific items from one account campaign to another totally different account campaign. This is just thinking out loud as I've never tried it but if the original GM setup the campaign for import/export then in theory anyone that has the ability to import or export their character could do it with any character sheet assigned to them. Again this is just thinking out loud.
