I'm new to D&D always had an interest but never took the time to figure it out till recently. Picked up a starter read it over toyed around with the adventure even put together most of it here on Roll20. Picked up the PHB and read through it and shortly after rolled a Dragonborn Paladin and eager to get my flail into action. Voice and/or Cam isn't an issue, learning other editions isn't a problem as well if others are willing to teach me. Really looking forward to learning more of a practical side of D&D while having plenty of laughs and adventures along the way. A bit about my character Pandjed Dragonborn Paladin Age 24 Lawful Good Noble background I come from a working class family, my father was a well known armor smith in a town just outside of Neverwinter. I would sit for hours in his shop and watch him craft armor and shields for all those who passed through. While sitting in his shop I obtained friends of all types, my best friend was an Elven fighter who over the years taught me everything he knew about the Elven people including their language. One day in his shop he was working on a very hush hush project all I know is it was very important and the designs on the armor and shield were almost angelic like. When he stepped out of the shop for a quick break I quickly took a peek at his project and was stunned by its beauty and was quick to try it on. I was just a small boy at the time maybe 7 if i remember correctly but soon as i slid that suit of armor over my head, the shield on my arm and picked up a rough weapon my father had laying around the shop something washed over me that I'll never be able to explain. All I remember was this flash of white in my mind, an angelic whisper calling my name and telling me to seek out the truth. In my mind I could see myself standing on a cliff overlooking our city with this same suit of armor I was wearing at the time but I was much older, the armor was mostly white with trim of gold and images of wings and crosses on the armor. I felt powerful, inspired, and proud. From that day I've done my best to learn everything I can about my fathers craft, different fighting styles, faith, law, and how to hold myself to a standard that others might see as a little extreme but they know me for always doing the right thing by everyone and quick to help others even at the risk of my own life. Retrieving lost heirlooms, finding missing members of family or town, riding an area of an evil or group of bandits causing trouble around towns.
