When ever I put a picture in a character journal it becomes broken.

I used to be able to just copy an image and paste it into the journal of a character but now it becomes a broken image when I save it. I use google chrome newest version and only got this problem today. I've tried restarting my computer and my browser several times and I don't know if the problem is on my end or the sites end and I'd really love to know someway to fix it.

Hi Airy. I started experiencing the same problem on the Dev prior to today's Update of Holding. Try uploading the image to your image library before using the copy image, paste method you mention. I believe this was recently changed by the Devs for some reason. Perhaps for security, copyright, or anti-hotlinking reasons...?

Airy, I'm not sure I understand your question. You mean as an Avatar image?

There has been a method in the past that you could right-click|copy image from a web page and paste it into Journal and Handout text fields. (Bio, GM Notes, etc.) It used to work for just about any image, but after some of the updates on the Dev, I noticed that you can only use this "undocumented feature" by copying images that are in your image library. I assume that the Update of Holding has brought those updates to the Production server as well. I believe that is the issue that Airy is referring to. If not, apologies.

Could be similar to this: "the server says you can't do that. If you see this message again, contact support" or something very similar comes up when i try to post a pic from the clipboard into a forum text box. Heck, you can try it now in the "post reply" box below.

Since this isn't a supported feature I can't promise anything but I'll take a look.

I'm having this issue as well. I have all my creature stat-blocks saved as images on dropbox and linked from there to the GM notes section. They used to show up as the image, now it's just a dead link. Apparently it's 'not a supported feature', but I'd really like it back. I enjoy keeping the stat-blocks on dropbox because I can view them when offline on my laptop.
