Chat Formatting - Dragging Images

Is there a way to drag images linked via Image [Roll20 Logo]( <a href="http://roll20.net/assets/themes/roll20/images/new-logo-white-sm.png" rel="nofollow">http://roll20.net/assets/themes/roll20/images/new-logo-white-sm.png</a> ) straight onto the map? This would be a crazy-simple way to let players provide a GM image assets to use like tokens or spell shape templates as part of a spell macro.
What I do as a player is .. if there is a character sheet or at least a place where I can make a journal entry is upload my characters pic onto there and then once that is done, I can drag & drop the pic onto the map and bam .... instant character token.
Indeed, but that's cumbersome and the player can't remove the image later. with the new markdown image tags, an image is right there in the chat log...much more directly accessible if it were dragable. ill post in suggestions as well, but think about how useful it would be to have spell shapes with transparency as part of the macro? Or players helping a GM find a token image quickly without dropping it right on the map(making GM delete it if they don't like it)

As a GM, I usually just ask my players to post a link to the where they found the image in the campaign forums then I go looking in the art library search inside the campaign to get the image that way unless it is marked non-seachable by the creator (on that website). It saves on data storage quota if you can do it that way while getting the image the players want. That art library search uses google so any image you can find and get the name of it from google, you can usually find it by name inside the campaign with the art library search.
Right, that's largely just for character tokens though; which is a do-once-never-touch deal, typically. I was thinking more along the lines of on-the-fly mid-game interaction. I was hoping there would already be a way to do the following: <a href="https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/1700011/text-cha" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/1700011/text-cha</a>... ♦ Allows players to help provide images for tokens, monsters, graphics, etc that come up during gameplay ♦♦ Avoids cumbersome Change Character Portrait &gt; Dragon Portrait to Map &gt; Change Portrait Back routine ♦♦ Let's GM choose whether or not to put the image on the map, as players cannot delete an image they've placed, currently. ♦ Opens the possibilities of Spell Shape templates to be combined with spell macros ♦♦ Example: &gt;&gt;&gt;&gt;&gt;&gt; &gt;&gt;&gt;&gt;&gt;&gt;&gt;&gt; Were the images to be dragable to the map, it could allow the GM or players to predefine spell shapes as part of their macro rather than drawing directly on the map mid-fight.
Ah, that reminds me about my growit script. I'll have to add exact dimensions for it other than radial aura.
