Sudden inability to change the zoom on 3/12/15

I am using a windows 7 with chrome on my i5 laptop. This past weekend I used roll 20 with no problems. Today the Update of Holding stuff is up and very cool but the magnifying glass/zoom drop menu will not stay up long enough for me to select anything. This has never happened before. I have exited, logged out & logged back in with no improvement.

I just opened the same map with the same setup on IE and I had no problems but in Chrome the drop menu just won't stay up long enough to let me select a new zoom level.

Does your laptop have touch enabled?
I'm also experiencing the same problem on my desktop PC, also using Chrome on 64bit Windows 7

Can you please follow Steps 1-3, taking special care to temporarily disable all browser add-ons and extensions, temporarily pause your anti-virus, and try switching browsers (for Chrome/Firefox specific issues) to see if one of those components is causing the problem. If all of that fails, please follow Step 4 , including providing all of the necessary information, so that we can further assist you.
I'm having this same problem as well; attempting to click on any value closes the dropdown menu. A temporary workaround I've found is to open the dropdown, then use the arrow keys to select the level of magnification. And this is the first issue I've had with Roll20 (of the technical sort), and I've changed nothing in my Chrome browser, so no, I'm pretty sure the problem is not on my end. -Phnord

Ditto on the drop down issue. I click on the magnifying glass, the 100%, and once I move the mouse down it disappears. Experienced this issue in other campaigns, so I'm pretty sure it's just a bug with the magnifying glass tool.

I disabled all my addons and it did not improve anything. I logged on in IE and did not encounter any problems at all. I am using Windows 7 64 bit Google Chrome Version 41.0.2272.89 m (64-bit) Javascript Enabled I use Norton antivirus but had all the browser addons disabled I have no idea how to do a console log My laptop is not touch enabled Phnord Prephect 's work around does work for me as well. I also had changed nothing on my chrome.
Same issue for me. Win7 64bit, Chrome, no addons
I can confirm that this problem is happening on Windows 7 64bit, Chrome version 41.0.2272.89 m. Phnord's workaround does indeed work. Something that I noticed is that if you press once to bring up the magnifier box, then press in the middle to change the zoom, as soon as you leave this box everything disappears. Now if click once, the very carefully click on the very bottom edge of the dropdown, you can then use the mouse. Needless to say though this is rather tedious.

I've been able to replicate the issue. We'll look into it. Also as an alternative work around until it's fixed there is a zoom slider in the upper right hand corner of the tabletop.
This is a bug that was introduced in the newest version of Chrome for Windows. We have submitted a bug report to Chrome and hopefully they will resolve it quickly. In the mean-time, you can: 1) Use the zoom slider along the right-hand side of the page. Double-clicking the slider handle will reset the zoom back to 100% as well. 2) If you "click and hold" when you click on the zoom drop-down, then "drag" down to the zoom you want to select, and then release and click the zoom amount, it seems to work. Sorry for the inconvenience here. Depending on what the Chrome team tells us, we'll re-evaluate a different way of doing this.
(This is the Chrome bug for those who are interested: <a href="https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=464799" rel="nofollow">https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=464799</a>)
Any eta on when this will be resolved. The slider is sort of ok but very inaccurate. Thank your attention to this issue. :)
I found I can click and hold then use the arrow keys to move thrgh the 10, 20, ect percent. Then press enter.
I discovered that holding Alt and using mouse wheel allows zooming in and out. Works far better than the slider imo. Also, this is only an issue on my desk top and not my laptop. Only difference is a recently added a new Lazer mouse.
