CAMPAIGN INFO: The year of our lord - 500 12 month calendar Zilargo Climate - Temperate "LOCAL HISTORY" Zilargo
has been a kingdom for 500 years, the current king is King Caleb the
IV. The land was long torn by wars fought by humans for land, after
humanity drove most other races to the brink of extinction, with the
exception of dwarves, halflings, and elves (knife-ears). Not all humans
show disdain on the sight of elves, however it isn't uncommon to see
humans distrust elves. The kingdom itself is there for the protection of
the people, and jobs and tasks are run through the guilds, a collection
of adventurers, scholars, and merchants. "GEOGRAPHY" Zilargo
is a smaller kingdom, but has managed to survive because of its natural
defences, mountains and oceans are across a vast majority of the
kingdoms borders, making any sort of invasion bottlenecked. To the north
lies the vast expanse owned by the kingdom of Breland, and to the east
the kingdom of Darguun, a darker land, but rather equal in power to
zilargo. "THE FALL" About 3-4 months ago there was an event
that has been labeled "The Fall" a catastrophe of unparalleled
destruction that threw a plane of existence over ours, merging the two.
When this was happening, things from the other side would sometimes
appear as ethereal beings, until finally after a day the entire sky fell
into the world. The Fall brought with it a new set of destruction, some
towns were leveled simply by the force of The Fall, others fell to
creatures that had torn through the towns. Many towns were able to repel
what little onslaught they faced at the time, however the difference in
time has allowed creatures to settle on their new plane of existence,
and there have been multiple reports of attack and all sorts of things
happening in the countryside.
