Playtesters

Hi I'm new here but been roleplaying for almost 30yrs (yes i'm that old) I have recently started an independent Games company called Feral Games (we have a FB group). The idea behind Feral Games is to create community powered games, this means that you the players help design the games from the floor up, all people involved are credited and depending on level of involvement are paid a percentage of our royalties and considered part of the team, so if this is something that sounds appealing get in contact. Anyway we will need playtesters for our rule systems etc, people who will be objective and give advice and solutions rather than dismissing it as rubbish, the games rely upon you getting involved so is that something the people here would be interested in doing?
I could be interested in this, I've dome a bit of homebrew game development for a diceless game.
I'm the resident rules lawyer for every system my home group plays. If you're rules need balanceing...I'm the guy
Excellent thanks for the interest and we are always looking for fresh ideas. Like I said we are a new indie company and I know from my experience GM'ing that I get a game and end up changing or adding rules etc so this is how Feral games started. If you have any questions feel free to ask.
I'd be interested in taking part. I've done a bit of homebrew game development for various systems.
That's great gonna start collecting emails so I can send out the rule systems to various people and have them tested also run a group myself for testing.
That's really exciting! I'd love to introduce new games to my college and local game stores.
Do you work mostly on fantasy systems or do you also do modern and/or sci-fi?
At the moment we have to games that have bare bones. The first is a post apocalyptic game with a community builder built in and vehicle designer. The second is a dark fantasy with a unique magic system and living weapons that level up and evolve.
JG, what night/time will you be setting up games to test your system here on Roll 20? I'll start, I am available Mon-Thu 6-10 PM eastern time.

Hoping to start Alpha testing within the next week, will try to get as many as possible involved and stagger the playtests over a few days. People need to understand 2 things. The playtests at the moment are on sections of the rules not the full system, the reasons behind playtesting is to iron out issues or to improve the system based upon your ideas and suggestions, we will do a full playtest eventually. All playtesters will receive a pdf copy of the finished system and a mention in the rulebook. Also if anyone has artistic skills, writing skills or Game/system ideas and would like to share them then please let us know.
