DM Requests Roll functionality

Probably fairly difficult to code and not a game-changer in terms of functionality, but it would be nice... I'd envision the following: Context: As a DM you want to ask one or more chars to roll a check of some sort. You always want to let the players actually push the button so they feel in control of their outcome (good or bad), but rather than making them hunt for it on their char sheet or type it up randomly, would be nice to essentially have an interface where: Interface feature somewhere: Requesting rolls DM selects "ask for roll" and "visible to all / only visible to recipients" (everyone sees request & outcome / done as whispers with DM) DM chooses one or more characters to ask from checklist of char sheets (requests go to whomever owns/controls the character) DM chooses roll (ideally directly off the game's char sheet layout - referencing the prebuilt macro, a la 'Dex save' or 'Stealth check') Character receives a popup with "DM has requested you roll a Knowledge (History) check. Click here to roll!" Roll is done off the individual character's char sheet stats If possible a visual feedback so the DM can see who hasn't rolled of the chars requested. This functionality already partially exists in the initiative tracking feature (in DND5 anyhow; I haven't tried other rulesets here) but would be an array-based expansion of it.
This is a great idea, maybe give the DM/GM/etc. a Master sheet that instead of having roll "blah" it has request roll and pop up appears on the players screen with a message like  The DM is requesting a "blah" roll would you like to roll or take the fail (in case someone just doesn't want take the spot check, Ref Save, etc.) and then have it zone to the roll button on the player's character sheet or just rolls it from there.  Even if it is just a pop-up would be nice because I know I have missed a few called rolls because it got lost in the scrolling text or the GM was just too quiet.
It's worth pointing out that this would only work for games that have actual character sheets and, thus, standardized macros.
