I am a DM looking for one, possibly two, replacement players for my Friday night game at 8 EST. My game has been running for over a year now but about two months ago we switched to 5e from Pathfinder and started an entirely new campaign. The game is going along quite well but unfortunately two of my players had to drop from the group for work scheduling reasons. One of my remaining players might have a friend who may join us but nothing is yet confirmed. At the very least, the group has one definite slot open and a second possible slot if the friend doesn't have the time. If you are possibly interested, here are some campaign details: The game is set in a semi-historical fantasy version of ancient history. The time period is the later end of the Roman empire, during its fall. Fantasy races are being used as different specific ethnic groups, e.g. the Romans are Dwarves and the Elves are Nordics, etc. The setting is purposefully low-magic. Spell-casters are extremely rare and anything above a level one caster is practically non-existent in the eyes of the public. You can play as a caster class but you have to work with me to figure out an appropriate back story and to re-fluff spells into appropriately low-magic feeling descriptions. There are three players currently, a Human Fighter, a Dwarf Paladin, and an Elf Monk. Player level is still at one but level two is only a session away. If this campaign appeals to you, post a reply here with your RP gaming experience and any other relevant information you think I need to know. If you seem like a possible good fit, I will send you a PM here on roll20 and we can discuss further. I hope to have any new players set up quickly and ready to join the game this Friday, so expect a quick response. Thank you for your time, -James
