Offline mode

I think an offline mode similar to google docs, where you download an application for your desktop, open it and you can edit campaigns offline. Then you just connect to the internet and update your files on the website... I'm not sure how feasible it is for the website but I think it would be a cool addition to edit your campaigns offline.
Not feasible at all.

It's not a critique. It's a simple statement of fact. Roll20 is a server side based web application. https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/83510/offline-mo... Not the first time this suggestion has been made or asked for and the response has always been the same.

Please do your best to be as helpful as the last comment you just put up explaining it. We have a lot of new users and a simple "Not feasible at all." is not enough for folks to determine value or understanding, especially if they are not aware of who you are (someone who has been around for a while and knows his stuff). We want our forum posts to be informative and helpful, so that any individual new or old can see this thread and understand why it is not feasible. Your second reply explains the situation and provides proof of why and that is a great example of the type of content we hope to see on the forums.
I didn't mind the "Not feasible at all." comment... I say in the original post that I am not sure that it will work it was just a suggestion I thought some people might like
I like the idea that the data could be stored on my computer and can be worked on while I'm offline then sync when internet is finally available. Would be extremely helpful during the internet outages that happen here often enough.
