A rare event in the sky: The Witches' Moon . With the appropriate rituals on this night, a witch can be granted her wicked heart's desire. You've tracked the Coven of the Dark Harvest to the town of Leafy Greens . But it may already be too late. As the moon is slowly becoming eclipsed in darkness, a scene of absolute pandemonium plays out in this once idyllic village. In the school house at the edge of town come the cries of children in distress as the familiar cackle of the corpulent hag Glurinda echoes in the night. Ratlike werebeasts abduct other children and whisk them away into the sewers, no doubt to the lair of Marsha & Mira , hideous conjoined bog hags. And in the cornfield at the edge of town, a veritable tornado of crows spins around a plume of green smoke pouring up from a clearing. The powerful hag Bruja circles on her broom while dozens of animate scarecrows surge from the farm to abduct children, attack the villagers, and set fire to the town. Will this coven be granted their fell wishes on this night of darkness? =========================================================== D&D 4e, 10th-level. All legal options permitted. Standard wealth by level to Lair Assault guidelines. This is my take on the "delve" style of adventure common to D&D 4e. It will involve all the pillars of D&D - combat, exploration, and social.
