Australian player new to tabletop games

I never had a chance to be part of the DnD scene however it seems interesting and I am available from 4pm onwards on weekdays except for tuesday and any time on the weekends. I'll gladly just watch at first add me on skype if anyone is willing to introduce me to the genre. My skype is Scytherx3.

Might want to include your time zone so people get an idea and can easily look it up. Otherwise, I advice searching up some videos to help you learn the games. I'd recommend Pathfinder particularly as it provides plenty of open source material and its basically DnD 3.5 edition updated. If you know pathfinder, you can play DnD 3.5 without to much trouble and vice versa.  Either way, good luck on your search. :)

I'm in GMT+9.5. Most of games here are run in evenings of US time, depending on what I've seen. So it's not very hard to find a game if you would like to get up early and play a morning game ( I had games like 6:30AM, for instance). Afternoon time for Australia is early morning in US. Not many games are available.

I'm in GMT +8.  I haven't seen much Australian posts here. I have been messing around with this for the last month.  I use to play a lot of DnD but it has been a few years. The best way to learn is to play.  I'm going to run a game soon when I finish reading Pathfinder.  It would be at the weekend most likely.   I'll post up when I get to that point.

There are a few of us (I am GMT+8). If three or four are interested I might be convinced to run something more (I am already running a Pathfinder game on Sunday mornings) - maybe a mid week type thing for a few hours. I have ran - could run as I have the books Savage Worlds (Deadlands: Reloaded, Darwins World, Deadlands: Hell on Earth, Suzrain, Space:1889, Necessary Evil, Supers) D&D (Any edition - I have OD&D -> D&D Next) - preference would be for not running 4E, or 3ED Star Trek - Next Gen (Last Unicorn I believe is the version I have) Pathfinder Or I would be very interested in playing something. I too have been searching this site for quite some time. I have come close to having games set up a couple of times but it seems to be truly difficult to organise 5 people at once. I am an Adelaide resident (GMT + 9:30) with a fairly flexible schedule and am interested in fantasy rollplay, (Pref WoD or DnD).  If anyone is looking for another player in an Australian time-zone game please don't hesitate to PM me, I am a very fast learner and would love to get my teeth into a decent campaign. Edit: I feel i should specify that I am fairly new to tabletop gaming having only really played around 5 times in what were generally the DMs homebrewed rules.

I'd be interested in playing a PF campaign during the week nights (I'm in the Hunter Valley so GMT+10). I've been building a campaign as well so I could DM the next time round if we get a group going.

If people want to play at/around 2PM AEST, that lines up with 9PM PDT. I'm a Pacific Coast American Looking for 3.5E or Pathfinder. My social life is essentially nothing, so the odds of me missing sessions is almost nil, with generally at least a week's advance notice that I'd have to miss a session. Willing to play any role, but SLIGHTLY happier not playing arcane types.

Hey there, I too am in GMT +10:00, Australia, very up for fantasy stuff (DnD, Pathfinder, Dragonlance) and I like Sci-Fi but not really into Warhammer, I'll play any role, for DnD I already have a few characters quasi-set-up. I have no idea what Savage Worlds is or World of Darkness is but they sound intriguing. It says so on my profile but I'm pretty new to roleplay, I used to have a bunch of text based ones with friends but I'm simply an educated newb when it comes to PnP/Dice.
