Timestamp in Roll20 chat?

Hello, is there any option to enable timestamps in the Roll20 chat? I often run into problems discerning how old a chat message (or a roll for that matter) is. Sometimes it happens that there is still an older roll as the last message in the chat window and a player has to make such a roll again. Then I have to think about if he made that roll already or if it's his old one (With several minutes to half an hour between rolls this can easily happen). I can't stare at the chat box during play, especially while reading through my notes / getting ready for the next encounter. Thanks! Vlyn

Would get my vote if put in the suggestions thread though ;) Just saying... Even if it was only the full chat log that was stamped

Figured there'd be one somewhere, just can never be bothered to work my way through that suggestions forum...
PowerCards have timestamps... and it would actually be pretty simple to include a command to replace chat commands with their api equivalents. !say !em !ooc ... but that would require your players to use them all the time. So, not really what you're looking for.

If you upgrade to a Mentor level subscription, this allows you to use API scripts. Powercards, which is a script for formatting macro-output, has the option to timestamp its output. <a href="https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/1463736/#post-1463736" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/1463736/#post-1463736</a>

Not really, Ziechael. Let's please stop with the whole "snipe" response that's becoming a lingo on here lately. Often-times, the 2nd person adds new information. GenKitty added both the fact that you need Mentor to get PowerCards, and also a helpful Link to the script. Let's encourage a forum culture of everyone giving good answers on here, welcome follow-up replies that add new information. We don't need to make it a race and discourage smart people from answering questions. Worse, I've seen a couple people erase their helpful replies in other threads, just because someone said they had been "sniped".

I agree entirely, still... lets not remove the 'fun' aspect of an active community... (i hope no-one snipes me!!)

While I think the "Forum Nazis" can be a bit overzealous at times, there is too much trash talk for what is supposed to be a network supporting each other and improving game play.

I recognize that you're a contributor to the community and were just joking with GenKitty. It's something that has been building up on my mind, with the large number of "I / you got sniped" posts around the forum recently.

Don't worry, I wasn't offended and genuinely do agree... Still a chance to tease GenKitty should never be overlooked. 'Snipe reporting' does tend to take a thread off topic though so I'll leave it there I think :)
