Player Wanting To Learn A New System

Really, anything is up in the air except 4th edition which I really don't like. I'd be down for pretty much anything D&D or otherwise if you're willing to help a newb. I just don't know many of the systems out there and would like a new (preferably simple) system to learn.

Not sure when I will get this going, but I'm thinking about trying a few Savage Worlds one shots. Still need to learn all the ins and outs of the program before I'll be ready though. If I can get something together, would you be interested? Again, not sure on timing right now. I'm in the Mountain time zone. I would probably be looking at a midweek game from 6-9:30ish my time. The Savage Worlds wiki page has a pretty good explanation. The system is very easy to learn. I love the fact that it can handle virtually any setting. I tell people that the rules are elegantly simple. Here is the link to the wiki page. There are tons of things with Savage worlds check this site out savage freebies if you want to get some freebies. For whatever campaign setting you are playing in for it you'll have to get the material from someone or the Denver Savage promoter guy who posted above.
