LFM 1-2 players for Witchcraft(Unisystem), every other sunday.

Hello. I'm starting a bi-weekly (every other week) game of Witchcraft, an urban fantasy/paranormal game that uses the Unisystem, a wonderfully easy to use system that also runs All Flesh Must Be Eaten and others. We're going for sort of a "paranormal investigators" feel and are looking for another membero r two to fill out our ranks. I'd rate our roleplay intensity at about medium, we don't aim for high art but we do gun for a little more than just "I roll dice to punch the enemy." We play on alternating Sundays, at 2 pm pacific time (5 pm eastern). Skype and roll20, no video. Post here or send me a private if interested.
Thought I'd give this a bump now that the weekend rush is over.
Hmm... I could use a bit more on what the game is about before getting into anything - you only have about 6 words that indicate what the content is. How long do you run? I have 3 hours free from the given start time.
We probably won't run for more than 3 hours (I average about 2 hours and a half hours for my sessions, that seems to be the sweet spot for me and my current group of players). As for the content, well, we're keeping the concept pretty simple, the players are an independent group of 'paranormal investigators,' some are mundane, some are spiritually gifted, some are a mix. The game takes place in relatively modern (Mid 2000's) Sacramento. I'd describe the feel I'm going for as a mixture of Call of Cthulhu and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The rules of the system allow you to pick either a mundane (who gets lots of skills and attributes) or a gifted/lesser gifted (who get less skill and attributes, but can do magic). There's various types of magic to pick from too, like necromancy or divinely inspired miracles.
That's the CJ carella thing, isn't it? I have Armageddon and Witchcraft sitting on the shelf - but never really got into playing. Every other week sounds like just what I'm comfy with, but 5 pm EST is about 3 hours before I can make it. Good luck finding people though, I'm sure it'll be a blast :)
Mmkay, Buffy was what I was expecting you to say. Well I'd be down for it if you don't get any other interested parties. I could go for playing a completely inept magic user tag-along sidekick. You know, like Willow.
Yeah Niki this is the CJ Carella thing, thanks for the support. TED you don't know nothin man Willow was using her magic to save the world =( It just took her like 8 seasons to do it =D
Excellent! Always good to see Unisystem get some love. Unfortunately, the slot doesn't work for me but game on!
Joke! It was a joke!
Oh hey I have Witchcraft and a few of it's supplements. Pretty neat looking system. I'd be down to finally try it out.
