D&D 3.5e character sheet Spells problem

Hi Diane, First, thanks for making this sheet available. (and editable) and Second, thanks for your help in my other thread about Macros. Now then. I have a problem with the spells section of the sheet. I have (eventually) managed to add 4 level 0 spells. Now I am attempting to add 2 level 1 spells. So here is what i do (to reproduce the error) after navigating to the spells section 1. Click add 2. Rename from "Doom" to "Cure Light Wounds" 3. Click in the Macro / Emote box 4. Tear hair out as spell entry disappears. 5. If 4 didn't happen, I manage to edit the macro and emote and click Add Spell to add the next one 6. Tear more hair out as all spell entries disappear. Hi Martin, your friendly neighbourhood busybody here. I've just played around with a sheet to try and replicate your problem but all seems to function as normal for me. What system/browser version are you using? As a potential workaround try refreshing (good old IT trick ;) ) and if that doesn't work try changing the name and pressing tab twice to access the macro box rather than clicking into it in case there is something about the click (the gods only know what?!) that may be causing it.

Hi Martin, Repeating sections are finicky, sadly. (If you have any unused votes, <a href="https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/1240016/officia" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/1240016/officia</a>... might be a good suggestion to use one on.) What seems to work best for me is to click add, rename the spell, then click anywhere else that isn't another input box. Say on the background/border to the left of the line. That seems to help save it. Then I'll edit the macro. It adds another click but I figure better one more click than a bunch. And after you edit the macro, always click on the background again before adding another spell entry. Sadly, I don't know of any other way other than hardcoding in a certain number of slots, which would be way too many for some and no where near enough for others, to have a reasonable spell list without using the repeating section. That incidentally is why there are only 6 weapon slots. So far, no one has said that they need more and when I put them into a repeating section, it was far more trouble than it was worth (besides making the macros impossible to use without opening the sheet and rolling directly from there. Hopefully you can get your spells to work. Good luck.
Thanks Diane. I had wondered how i managed to get all 4 level 0 spells in. Mybe that's what i did subconciously. Anyway, +1 added to the vote, and thanks for a swift answer. @Ziechael - I prefer guardian code angel than busybody :P thanks for the assist though
