LFP D&D5E Sandbox game for mature roleplayers Saturdays 5pm EST to midnight+

Established "FR like" game world, great GM. We're looking for a few of the *right* players to join us. We have had players in the past who couldn't meet the bar and that was not pleasant for anyone so please read the below completely to see if you think you are really a fit for us: https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/1550389/general-rules-world-specific-parameters-and-rules#post-1747643
I believe that I can follow through with those rules. I have yet to actually try the 5E system but it doesn't seem very complicated as I understand it. I actually understand these rules very well because they are what I like to see in my players, and it can be frustrating when players refuse to have their character actually interact with each other and the world, waiting for the GM to railroad them. I would like to try it, though I have not made a character yet.
Great! If you've played any D20, and you played 2E D&D, it should come fairly quickly. I'm certainly happy to help with character stuff and Jim or GM is a great rules resource. Send him a pm at Shadowspawn if you haven't yet, and include a character background. He'll want to see a char sheet before the "interview" but Im happy to help you with that if you like. The "interview" is our member intake process. We meet in the bard and have some initial character interaction and then, assuming that goes well, we do one night's adventuring together to make sure the chemistry "works" on both sides.
Ah okay, I will get to work on a character as soon as I get to my house.
