Hmmmm, sounds interesting, although generally a GM/DM just posts their game and has a group within very short order, while some games of less popularity search for someone to fill the iron throne for quite awhile. Perhaps a "GM Listing" would be more appropriate, where an individual lists the games they are willing to run, their availability, contact info, requirements, etc.
i have searched for a DM once and it was great (learned how to run 5e Horde of the dragon queen), but never again, not after joining a few as DM and being pooped on. i would rather make my own where i have Full control, then having to spend a lot of effort to "entertain some friends" that eventually turn it into an exorcise on "how can we break this module?" but since im not the owner of the campaign, i cant replace troublemakers. but, you have a valid point too... so perhaps both options, a campaign can be flagged as "LFGM" like they can "New players welcome" and "mature content inside" and players can search for it, as well as filter it out should they wish to avoid such games. and people can put in their profiles what games they prefer to play, and games they prefer to DM.
