I've taken to making reference notes for players entirely as text in the "description and notes" section of handouts, because they're easier for people to read. The little panel with text styles on it (bold, italics, bulleted lists etc.) does weird things when the text gets to be over a certain length. If the whole document is of medium length, or I'm somewhere in the middle of a longish document, then whenever I click in the text window or select text, the panel appears and then immediately floats out of view, so that I cannot actually access it, and I can only get text of a certain style by cutting and pasting from somewhere else.
Once the document gets to be fairly long and I'm down the bottom of it, the panel starts appearing again, but it is incomplete (no bullet points) and translucent. I've included a screenshot of the latter behavior.
