Attack delay

I've been using the roll20 website for a few months now for a 5e D&D campaign, and for one with a single computer screen this app is perfect for keeping your character sheet on hand without clicking around all the time. Absolutely wonderful. The only two things that I've noticed that have affected my use of it are that there is no way of selecting a character token to roll for initiative. I did see that one mentioned in a previous post and the awesome devs are on it so I'm not too worried about that one. The other thing is that attacking with weapons takes significantly longer than casting spells. There's about a 12 second delay between pressing the attack button and getting your roll results - a bit of a nuisance if you're dual wielding and attacking once for each weapon. Am I the only one with this problem? thanks again for this app. I was extremely excited when I heard of its release. Myself and my tiefling rogue appreciate you very much. :)

In my experience, larger character sheets (by LoC, not by dimensions) are slower, and the D&D sheets in general are larger than most. (The 5e sheet is about 1mb between HTML and CSS.) Further, the mobile app tends to be slower to respond than a PC is, likely as an extension of mobile devices having slower hardware than your average desktop or laptop.
Do you have 3d dice turned on? They make the app feel a lot slower IMO.
Brian, that is a good point. I was just wondering why spells with complex mechanics were quicker than the basic attacks were. I love the app so this definitely isn't a deal breaker. I just want to make sure its not something wrong with something I'm doing - such as the 3d dice. I turned those off, Matt. Thank you both for your replies. Maybe it's just something that will improve with time? The app is still very new. It could also just be as Brian said - massive character sheets.
