Slow and Lagging

We play on Thursday nights, and last week I just thought it was the fact I was on my laptop in a spot with crowded wifi running my game, but I logged in today to start prepping for tonight and all my maps are laggy, making it very hard to prep, let alone play tonight. I logged into one of my older, defunct games to see if it was a problem on Roll 20 or my computer, but those older games are moving just fine. I'm curious what could be causing my game to lag like this.

I'm sorry you're having trouble with the site. Can you please follow Steps 1-3 of our Solving Technical Issues wiki page, taking special care to temporarily disable all browser add-ons and extensions, temporarily pause your anti-virus, and try switching browsers (for Chrome/Firefox specific issues) to see if one of those components is causing the problem. If all of that fails, please follow Step 4 , including providing all of the necessary information, so that we can further assist you.

You may find the culprit where you least expect him. He may be sitting in your chair right now . As I got more into the many tools and tricks on Roll 20 I started making more elaborate maps, using Dynamic lighting, adding layered sound and tons of lag. You may just be working your computer harder than you realize. A highly detailed scree uses a ---- load of memory.

im having issues as well today. its been very slow and laggy.yes ive done steps 1-3.
