Is there a way to track how far a token has moved?/Battletech

I'm playing a Battletech-like game with my friends, and one of the things that determines too hit is how many hexes the enemy you're targeting has moved. I've been having my players write their starting hex on the map using the paint tool, and then when it comes time to calculate to-hit just using the ruler tool. Also, on a more general note, has anyone else here ran Battletech on roll20? Any other shortcuts/tips to make the process more streamlined, short of just using megamek instead?

If you pick up a token (click and hold) and press the space bar your will see it's last move complete with measurement. You can also use subsequent presses of the space bar while moving a token to track its move distance. The wiki contains a wealth of information on subjects such as these, this page in particular describes my suggestion.
Thank you!

No problem, happy to help. Just ran some test cases as i've never used hexes before and it works as expected for them too, also worth noting is that you don't have to click-hold a token to see it's last move, just selecting it and pressing space will do it :)

You can place a number in any of the status icons, by hovering your mouse over them in the menu and pressing the number. Sorry I'm on my phone or I would post a pic for you. Here is a link to the wiki: Look at #5: Token Status Overlays .
